We here at Channel KOD would like to inform everyone that we are looking at taking different approaches to help broaden the community and appeal to everyones needs on News and reviews. As we stated in one of our podcasts we do not get games early. We receive them when the general public does. In order to keep our fans and frequent visitors up to date with what is going on in the game world we will update our blog every day with new news, and reviews as we get them in. In order for us to do so we created a NEWS page that will be updated daily along with our blogs. The news page will feature all updated news with dates attached as to when they were available. We also created a Contact page in case you wish to not register at our forums to ask us questions regarding the site or show. We are also working on a mid week review podcast which will be strictly related to reviews. That podcast will probably not launch until late March, early April. Please send us feedback, emails or comments regarding your thoughts on the new system we are implementing.

Bionic Commando screens Released and Progress Report –

Bionic Commando will be appearing on the XBox 360 arcade, Playstation store and for DL for the PC. The PC and PS3 version will feature high res, and textures due to the fact that Microsoft will only allow 150 MB file size limits. The remake of the classic NES game will hit the Marketplace, PS Store and PC this spring.

GRAND THEFT AUTO IV SCREENS AND POSSIBLE STORY REVEALED –

I swear the more screens I see on this game the more and more I see Martin Scorsese’s work. Even though he’s not attached to this title, his influence is definetley there. Take a look for yourself.

Mass Effect coming to the PC this MAY, with better graphics and gameplay?? 

Bioware announced that they will be releasing Mass Effect to the PC this May with better graphics, improved Frame rates and improved gameplay. They also announced previously that Mass Effect 2 & 3 will be releasing simotaniousley on the 360 and PC when they are shipped.

Final Fantasy XIII’s Future and engine updates - -

Square Enix’s “White Engine,”now renamed the Crystal Tools, has been confirmed for work on platforms of PS3, XBox 360 and PC. Also they did announce that they will be using a dumbed down version of Crystal Tools for the Wii Platform. They also showed a trailer for FFXIII. They displayed some gameplay of the lighting effects and stunningly left everyone with a big WOW. They also attempted to quite the corss platform talk of this release, because at the end of the trailer there was a screen saying “Exclusively for the Playstation 3″. It remains to stay Exclusive, but my gut is telling me, not true.

Warhawk DLC coming, with a possible Single Player Mode? 

Operation Broken Mirror has been announced as a DLC package that will feature a new Vehicle, Battleground, and an APC that includes a new set of spawn points. As far as the single player goes “We made a strategic decision to go multiplayer only and I would be against doing a set of single-player expansion packs for Warhawk,” said the game director Dylan Jobe. Right now it has not been confirmed but it is nice to see that they are still supporting DLC for this Multiplayer game only for the PS3.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed nearing completion and could be coming sooner than we believe - -

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is nearing the polishing stages and bug testing, and was announced that aside from coming out in 2008, that game could ship in time for the summer . They are speculating now that SWFU will ship in late July, early August. New screens were shown at GDC but STILL THE NAME OF DARTH’s APPRETICE WAS NOT ANNOUNCED!!!
