Happy Easter everyone, we hope you are enjoying time with the family. I’ll be doing the show solo this week because KODxBLUE & KODxBOOMEY are both with their families and my wife is working so I opted to record solo this week. This is a short show but filled with just enough to get your week started off right. I got What I’ve been playing, News, and I will be bringing back the Review segment this time around since I am solo, and alos I got a few questions from E-Mail to respond to as well as Next weeks BIG releases. Here is a recap of this week’s show.

- - March 21, 2008Ubisoft studio’s bought out the Tom Clancy License the other day which gives them the ability to create any of the Tom Clancy games without additional fees. They also gain his rights to films, books and games. The guys over at Ubisoft also passed the hint of a Tom Clancy MMO that they are currently developing. They are not releasing any information about the title just yet but they are working on one. It just leaves us wonder whether this is a returning IP or a brand new IP, which is what I’m expecting.
Guitar Hero: On Tour coming Soon!

Looks like the Nintendo DS is finally getting its hands on the Guitar Hero game. Although they have not released any tracks on the tour version, or release date, however they did announce that Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock will also be moving over to the DS. If you are wondering how the game will work the DS it will come packaged with it’s own peripheral that will be plugged into the GBA plug at the bottom of the system. You will hit the corresponding notes and then strum the guitar on the touch screen. You will hold the DS like a book (pictured above). More on this story as it develops.
New Halo 3 Maps on the way for the Spring

Halo 3 is getting some new multiplayer maps this spring. The maps will be named Avalanche, Ghost Town, and an unknown map that will be a classic remake. The pack will be around 800 Microsoft points, and will be released on April 15th, 2008.
Prey 2 On The Radar for new Company . . .

In a recent conversation with the folks over at ign.com Scott Miller released info on the brand new company Radar Group and their involvement in new IP’s and the recent announcement of Prey 2 on the way. Yes the lead character Tommy will be returning but will be more take charge and adapted to heroism of a galactic savior. Another interesting title set to release is called “Earth No More” which is not an alien game as Miller told IGN. “No aliens. The game is secretly—not anymore, I guess!—a commentary on how humankind’s misuse and abuse of our planet can come back to bite us in the ass”. The premise seems so intriguing and we are definetly looking forward to what Radar Group has to offer the game industry. So far it is looking good.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl Becomes the fastest selling game in Nintendo’s Long History!

Nintendo of America has today announced that they have the fastest selling title in their long history staring at them in the face. Smash Bros. sold more than 1.4 million units since it’s release on March 9, 2008. 874,000 gamers purchased their game on the first day of launch. The game is also apparently selling at a steady 120 units per minute. Way to go Nintendo!
