What a great second day and MASSIVE third day at GDC this year. Probably one of the biggest stories to come was . . .

EPIC STUDIOS AND MICROSOFT ANNOUNCED “GEARS OF WAR 2″ FOR THE XBOX 360, SLATED TO HIT SHELVES NOVEMBER 2008!!!

Today during the presentation of their Unreal 3 Engine, Epic studios closed out with Lead Designer Cliffy B running to the stage with a chainsaw with the coverart and release date for Gears of War 2! to follow that up they had an all CG trailer between Marcus and a Locust soldier. If the trailer is any indication to new moves in Gears 2 then it looks to be very very promising. Marcus and the Locust engage in a chainsaw struggle that will eventually lead to Marcus flipping his Chainsaw upside down and cutting the Locust upwards instead of Downward. I am still a little sceptical of the November release date but DAMNIT IF I WONT BE HAPPY IF THIS SHIPS IN TIME!!!!

NINJA GAIDEN 2 GETS A STREET DATE!

After month of specualation, screen shots, and videos, GDC 08′ brought on another surprise announcement out of Microsofts key notes. Ninja Gaiden 2 will be releasing in the US on June 3, 2008. The long awaited sequel will have our summer engrossed with an already packed summer, but I do think however that this is a good releases to comete with Sony’s Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot.

NEW MMO GAME BLUE MARS SCREENS WERE RELEASED!!

FABLE 2 CO OP VIDS. AND COMBAT CONTROLS SHOWN AND A POSSIBLE RELEASE DATE!

Microsoft and Lionhead studios, in the wake of their key notes showed a co op demonstration for Fable 2. Apparently anyone can pick up a controller and join in, at any time through the game , and anywhere. The player can play as long as he/she pleases from 5 minutes to 5 hours if they wish, and not interupt game play. If this feature is online remains to be seen, but he did say however that a lot more about the environment and game features at this years E3 but for the most part they are tenative to have the game ship in time for Christmas.

Wii FIT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED, STREET DATED, AND PRICED!!!

for all you Yoga and work out fans your wait to get your hands on the Wii Fit motion board and software are coming much sooner than you think. May 19th you will be able to go through tons of mini games and workout regiments to help you get into shape. SO yes all you fat slobs that like to sit on your ass and do nothing, this game is for you! The game will price at $89.99 and will be available bundled only.
